The feather with the quill acts as a natural “spring” and prevents the pillow to flatten out over time or become “packed” down.  It is important that this feather with the quill is on the inner chamber so that the quill will not “poke” through the material at night.  You are left with the soft down closest to your cheek, feeling only the down feathers comfort. This pillow features the Allernon-21 down cleaning process with ozonation and anti-bacterial treatment makes this product hypo-allergenic and antimicrobial.
